Archeoviparosiphum baissense
Taxonomy
Oviparosiphum baissensis was named by Shaposhnikov and Wegierek (1989). Its type specimen is PIN 4210/2623, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Baissa (PIN collection 4210, layer 4), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large siltstone/marl in the Zaza Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Archeoviparosiphum.
It was recombined as Archeoviparosiphum baissense by Żyła et al. (2015).
