Anisotemnus distentus
Taxonomy
Isotemnus distentus was named by Ameghino (1901). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pico Salamanca (Barrancan), which is in a Bartonian terrestrial horizon in Argentina. It is the type species of Anisotemnus.
It was recombined as Anisotemnus distentus by Ameghino (1902) and Simpson (1967).
