Acephialtitia colossa
Taxonomy
Acephialtitia colossa was named by Li et al. (2015). Its type specimen is CNU-HYM-LB2013004, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Liutiaogou Village, Dashuangmiao Town (CNU collection), which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Yixian Formation of China. It is the type species of Acephialtitia.
