Elephantomyia (Elephantomyia) brevipalpa

Taxonomy
Toxorhina brevipalpa was named by Loew (1851). Its type specimen is MfN MB.J 337, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Berendt collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Poland.

It was recombined as Elephantomyia brevipalpa by Meunier (1906), Alexander (1931); it was recombined as Elephantomyia (Elephantomyia) brevipalpa by Kania (2015), Kania‑Kłosok and Krzemiński (2021).
