Taxonomy
Paleocader gusenleitnerorum was named by Heiss (2013). Its type specimen is Tiroler Landesmuseum BB-Ting-02, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber (Heiss coll, Tiroler Landesmuseum), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.
