Taxonomy
Phatnoma baltica was named by Drake (1950). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber (USNM collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Sinalda baltica by Froeschner (1996), Golub and Popov (1998), Golub and Popov (2002), Wappler (2003), Golub (2004); it was recombined as Parasinalda baltica by Heiss and Golub (2013).
