Taxonomy
Sinalda froeschneri was named by Golub and Popov (1998). Its type specimen is Herrling HT1, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber (Herrling Collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Parasinalda froeschneri by Heiss and Golub (2013).
