Protazteca eocenica
Taxonomy
Protazteca eocenica was named by LaPolla and Greenwalt (2015). Its type specimen is USNM 609590, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Spring site, Middle Fork Flathead River (Kishenehn), which is in a Lutetian lacustrine - large shale in the Kishenehn Formation of Montana.
