B. Petriella 1972Leño fósil de Dicotiledóneas. Porosidad difusa; vasos pequeños a medianos, solitarios o múltiples radiales de 2-4 o más células, con o sin tilidosis, elementos vasculares cortos a largos, perforaciones simples; punteaduras intervasculares escalariformes, opuestas y transicionales a alternas, punteaduras radio-vasculares amplias. Parénquima paratraqueal escaso, terminal ausente o presente. Radios leñosos delgados, marcadamente heterogéneos. Fibras no libriformes, septadas. Canales traumáticos verticales ausentes o presentes.
