Taxonomy
Weinmannioxylon pluriradiatum was named by Petriella (1972). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Holotype: LP-PB 9068, a wood, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Puesto Fernández - NF Angiosperms, which is in a Paleocene terrestrial sandstone in the Cerro Bororó Formation of Argentina.
