Taxonomy
Bororoa anzulovichii was named by Petriella (1972) [Adicional samples: LP-PB 4574, 9032, 9039, 9040, 9041, 9042, 9043, 9044, 9045, 9047, 9049, 9050, 9051, 9052, 9053, 9054, 9055, 9056, 9057]. It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Holotype: LP-PB 4573, a wood, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Puesto Fernández - NF Cycadales, which is in a Paleocene terrestrial sandstone in the Cerro Bororó Formation of Argentina.

B. Petriella 1972 | Tronco 30-45 cm de diámetro, médula 12 cm, cilindro vascular 1,9 cm, córtex 3,5 cm, bases foliares 8 cm. Traqueidas de 26 (12-36) µ de diámetro tangencial, la mayoría seriadas. Radios primarios con una o más trazas y varios canales mucilaginosos. Radios secundarios uniseriados. Córtex uniforme, sin capas peridérmicas. Bases foliares de 3,1 x 1,5 cm, sin capas peridérmicas, con una capa discuntinua de fibras infraepidérmicas. |
