Notonecta cantalensis
Taxonomy
Notonecta cantalensis was named by Nel and Paicheler (1992). Its type specimen is MNHN IPM-R.54103, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is La Bade, Riom-ès-Montagnes, which is in a Gelasian crater lake mudstone in France.
