Taxonomy
Tennentsia princeps was named by Lambkin (2015). Its type specimen is QM F57824, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Mount Crosby Insect locality B (Carsburg collection), which is in a Norian lacustrine - small shale in the Mount Crosby Formation of Australia.
