Taxonomy
Tennentsia evansi was named by Lambkin (2015). Its type specimen is QM F57827, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Road cutting 3 km ENE of Gayndah, which is in an Anisian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Gayndah Formation of Australia.
