Taxonomy
Dolerus oligocaenicus was named by Meunier (1923). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Rott (Bauckhorn coll), which is in a MP 30 lacustrine - large lignite in Germany.
It was recombined as Leucempria oligocaenica by Statz (1936); it was recombined as Empria oligocaenica by Taeger et al. (2010).
