B. J. MacFadden and M. F. Skinner 1979 | Same as for genus with the following distinctions: Nasal notch retracted to above P3-P4. Fossa between buccinator and lacrimal fossae not as well developed as other Onohippidium (Fig. 4).
B. J. MacFadden 1997 | Same as for genus with the following distinctions: Nasal notch re- tracted to above P3-P4. Fossa between buc- cinator and lacrimal fossae not as well de- veloped as other Onohippidium (Fig. 4).
L. Dos Santos Avilla et al. 2015 | Nasal notch positioned up to the P4, and at the limit between the anterior and the posterior DPOF; dorsal bor- ders of the premaxillary bones delimiting the lateral borders of the nasal aperture; nasal notch formed only by the premaxillary and nasal bones; DPOF as a pair of depressions longitudinally placed at each side of the rostrum; distal portion of the DPOF well developed and mainly located where the maxillary and lacri- mal bones join, with ventral portion of the nasals forming its upper border; proximal portion of the DPOF less developed and located where maxillary and premaxillary bones join, from P2 to P4 (Fig. 2A, B). |
