Taxonomy
Maueria pusillus was named by Zalessky (1937). It is an impression. Its type locality is Chekarda, Sylva River (Zalessky collection, Vernadsky State Museum), which is in a Kungurian deltaic siliciclastic in the Koshelevka Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Archescytina pusilla by Prokop et al. (2015).
