Losodokodon losodokius
Taxonomy
Losodokodon losodokius was named by Rasmussen and Gutierrez (2009). Its type specimen is KNM-LS 18244, a set of teeth (Right upper M3 and left upper M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lothidok Hill, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial horizon in the Erageleit Formation of Kenya. It is the type species of Losodokodon.
