Taxonomy
Psallops eocenicus was named by Herczek et al. (2015). Its type specimen is MZ 26174, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber (Museum Ziemi collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Poland.
