Zijlstra et al. 2013 | Members of the Family Tarsiidae characterized by: molars moderately high-crowned but lower-crowned than living genera; lower molars appreciably longer than wide; strong, isolated paraconid on m1 and m2; anterolabial cingulid present on m1 and m2; short- ened talonid with entoconid and hypoconid placed relatively mesially, the entoconid opposite the hypoconid in m2, but mesial to the hypoconid in m1; entoconid relatively large; M3 with paracone and metacone positioned relatively lingually, with sloping buccal wall, weak lingual cingulum, and small metaconule but no paraconule. |
