Scarrittia canquelensis
Taxonomy
Scarrittia canquelensis was named by Simpson (1934). Its type specimen is specimen not collected and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Crater Lake Beds - Scarritt Pocket, which is in a Chattian crater lake conglomerate/sandstone in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Scarrittia.
