Omanitherium dhofarensis
Taxonomy
Omanitherium dhofarensis was named by Seiffert et al. (2012). Its type specimen is SQU-290, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is DPP-2010-1, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial horizon in the Ashawq Formation of Oman. It is the type species of Omanitherium.
