Taxonomy
Helius (Helius) neali was named by Kopeć et al. (2016). Its type specimen is USNM Brodzinsky/ Lopez-Penha 10938, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber (USNM Brodzinsky Lopez-Pena coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.
