Protocoeliades kristenseni
Taxonomy
Protocoeliades kristenseni was named by De Jong (2016). Its type specimen is ZMUC Danekrae DK 136, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Island of Fur (Zoologisk Museum Copenhagen coll), which is in a Ypresian offshore ramp mudstone in the Moler Formation of Denmark. It is the type species of Protocoeliades.
