Cathayamodus fournieri
Taxonomy
Cathayamodus fournieri was named by Gao et al. (2016). Its type specimen is CNU-TRI-LB2009001, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Huangbanjigou, Chaomidian Village, CNU 2009 collection, which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Yixian Formation of China. It is the type species of Cathayamodus.
