Litolophus gobiensis
Taxonomy
Grangeria gobiensis was named by Colbert (1934). Its type specimen is AMNH 26645, a partial skull (Crushed skull and a mandible), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 6 miles west of Camp Margetts and 27 miles southwest of Iren Dabasu (Arshanto), which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Arshanto Formation of China.
It was recombined as Litolophus gobiensis by Radinsky (1964) and Bai et al. (2010).
