Phenacolemur lapparenti
Taxonomy
Phenacolemur lapparenti was named by Russell et al. (1967). Its type specimen is MNHN AV 5849, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP V6168, Avenay quarry, which is in a Ypresian terrestrial horizon in the Lignites de Soissonais Formation of France.
It was recombined as Arcius lapparenti by López-Torres and Silcox (2018).
