Taxonomy
Pappaceras meiomenus was named by Wang et al. (2016). Its type specimen is IVPP V20254, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Huheboerhe-Nuhetingboerhe (AS-5), which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Arshanto Formation of China.
