Teffichthys madagascariensis
Taxonomy
Perleidus madagascariensis was named by Piveteau (1934). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Ankitokazo basin, which is in a Dienerian/Smithian coastal mudstone in Madagascar. It is the type species of Teffichthys.
It was recombined as Teffichthys madagascariensis by Marramà et al. (2017).
