Floridictis petersoni

Taxonomy
Paroligobunis petersoni was named by Loomis (1932). Its type specimen is ACM 2011, a mandible (left lower jaw with c1–m), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Van Tassel (Upper), which is in a Harrisonian terrestrial horizon in Wyoming.

It was recombined as Megalictis petersoni by Hunt and Skolnick (1990) and Hunt and Skolnick (1996); it was recombined as Floridictis petersoni by Baskin (2017).
