Taxonomy
Calymene gamachei was named by Chatterton and Ludvigsen (2004). Its type specimen is GSC 122377, an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is AN36, which is in a Telychian open shallow subtidal shale/limestone in the Jupiter Formation of Canada.
