It was recombined as Asaphus granulatus by Dalman (1828); it was recombined as Trinucleus granulatus by Lovén (1845); it was recombined as Tretaspis granulata by Kielan (1960); it was recombined as Nankinolithus granulatus by Pålsson (1996).
