Taxonomy
Burmapsyche was named by Wichard et al. (2017). Its type is Burmapsyche comosa. It is the type genus of Burmapsychidae.

It was assigned to Dysoneuridae by Wichard et al. (2017); and to Burmapsychidae by Wichard (2021), Wichard and Kuranishi (2023).
