Taxonomy
Miomaci pannonicum was named by de Bones et al. (2017). Its type specimen is RUD-559, RUD-1675, RUD-1948 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rudabánya, which is in a MN 9 lacustrine marl/claystone in the Edelény Formation of Hungary. It is the type species of Miomaci.
