Taxonomy
Baeomorpha avamica was named by Gumovsky (2017). Its type specimen is PIN 3311/95, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Taimyr amber, Yantardakh Hill (PIN collection 3311), which is in a Santonian terrestrial amber in the Kheta Formation of the Russian Federation.
