Taxonomy
Mioeuoticus kichotoi was named by Kunimatsu et al. (2017). Its type specimen is (KNM-BG 48081, a maxilla (right maxilla with P4 –M3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Nachola Site BG-K, which is in a Miocene terrestrial horizon in the Aka Aithputh Formation of Kenya.
