Calymene nasuta
Taxonomy
Calymene nasuta was named by Ulrich (1879). Its type specimen is USNM 41871 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Napoleon, which is in a Sheinwoodian carbonate shale/limestone in the Osgood Formation of Indiana. It is the type species of Spathacalymene.
It was recombined as Spathacalymene nasuta by Tillman (1960).
