Taxonomy
Kobus laticornis was named by Harris (2003). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lothagam-Upper Nawata Mb, which is in a Messinian/Zanclean fluvial sandstone/mudstone in the Nawata or Nachukui Formation of Kenya.
