Taxonomy
Xenomorphia handschini was named by Krogmann et al. (2018). Its type specimen is NMB F3042, an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bach, Quercy (NHMB collection), which is in a Chattian fissure fill phosphorite in France.
