Palmettaspis consorta
Taxonomy
Palmettaspis consorta was named by Fritz (1995). Its type specimen is USNM 476024, a cephalon/head, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UNSM "Green" Locality 1f, which is in a Montezuman marine siltstone in the Campito Formation of Nevada. It is the type species of Palmettaspis.
