Semaeomyia dominicana
Taxonomy
Brachygaster (Semaeomyia) dominicanus was named by Nel et al. (2002). Its type specimen is MCAM 0168, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber, Palo Quemado (MCB coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.
It was recombined as Semaeomyia dominicana by Perez-Gelabert (2008); it was recombined as Brachygaster dominicanus by Li et al. (2018).
