Taxonomy
Archilimonia grauvogeliana was named by Lukashevich and Ribeiro (2018). Its type specimen is SMNS 6180/6181, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Arzviller, which is in an Aegean delta plain claystone/siltstone in the Grès à Voltzia Formation of France.
