Taxonomy
Cercopithecus lhoesti was named by Sclater (1899). It is extant. It is the type species of Allochrocebus.

It was recombined as Chlorocebus lhoesti by Tosi et al. (2004); it was recombined as Allochrocebus lhoesti by Groves (2006).
