Taxonomy
Blenniphora skaka was named by Szwedo (2019). Its type specimen is CAMSM X.50140.90, a tegmen, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bembridge Marls (A'Court Smith collection), which is in a Priabonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Bouldnor Formation of the United Kingdom.
