Taxonomy
Adelphomyia disjunctula was named by Cockerell and Haines (1921). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bembridge Marls (Hooley coll), which is in a Priabonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Bouldnor Formation of the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Pseudolimnophila (Pseudolimnophila) disjunctula by Krzemiński (2019).
