Baierophyllites florinii
Taxonomy
Baierophyllites florinii was named by Jain and Delevoryas (1967). It is not extant. Its type specimen is YPM 1120, a leaf. Its type locality is Minas de Petroleo (Wieland coll), which is in a Carnian lacustrine delta plain shale/claystone in the Potrerillos Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Baierophyllites.
