Anthrophyopsis decurrens was named by Kimura and Kim (1989). It is not extant. It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is 81-023T. Its type locality is Cheondaeri, Chungnam Coalfield, which is in a Triassic fluvial horizon in the Amisan Formation of South Korea.
