Chlororhysis was named by Gazin (1958). It is not extant. Its type is Chlororhysis knightensis.
It was synonymized subjectively with Loveina by Krishtalka and Schwartz (1978).
It was assigned to Teilhardinina by Szalay (1976); to Omomyidae by Gazin (1958), Bown (1979), Bown and Rose (1984) and McKenna and Bell (1997); and to Anaptomorphini by Gunnell and Rose (2002).
