Dyseolemur was named by Stock (1934). It is not extant. Its type is Dyseolemur pacificus.
It was assigned to Omomyinae by Simpson (1940); to Omomyidae by Stock (1934), McKenna and Bell (1997); and to Washakiini by Szalay (1976), Honey (1990), Gunnell and Rose (2002), Holroyd and Strait (2008).
