Taxonomy
Luanpingia senjituensis was named by Hong (1984). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Shidongzi, which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Yixian Formation of China.
It was recombined as Stellularis senjituensis by Chen et al. (2020).
